Sang Ziming returns to his hometown, Qilin, seeking to find his lover, Lianxiang, to consummate their marriage. However, upon meeting Lianxiang, Sang Ziming discovers that she is not the same person he once knew; she is always accompanied by a white-haired fox demon as she searches for the truth.
