Vita Activa 2016

The artist asked the musician Francesco Dillon to produce sounds starting from the interaction with the rooms and debris of the Palazzo del Lavoro building in Turin, to then integrate them with his cello performance of some excerpts from Mozart's Requiem in D minor k626. The struggle that is established between the funeral observance that the piece produces and the attempts to listen to the space in the expression of its ultimate potential for the production of meaning, is resolved in a visual tension that manifests the parable between life and death on which "Forza lavoro" develops.
