This film is a piece of experimental cinema that tackles the displacement and resilience of indigenous refugees (IDPs). No actual dialogue can be heard in front of the camera; Ikil’s voice is only heard as a Voiceover (V.O.). The entire weight of the story relies on intense sound design, poetic timing, and the physical contrast between the chaotic city and the peaceful flow of the river in the province.
