Seven years ago, Marina left Moscow with her daughter, where she dreamed of writing books, to a small English village. Everything, it would seem, she has now: a loving husband, family, lovely neighbors, new friends, work, hobbies... However, it does not work out as desired. There is no sense of a fulfilled life, there is no love, there is no agreement with yourself. And then Marina's friend appears, a bright, energetic, successful writer... Marina is in a state of confusion: maybe she could work, write in Russian, which no one needs here? Maybe it's not too late to start all over again?
